Since 2000, we’ve been elevating fashion photography—without elevating the cost of quality work. It’s part of the magic that sets StyleExpo apart from the rest of the field. Though we specialize in fashion, jewelry, beauty and homegoods, we are anything but a one-trick pony. Our team of photographers, stylists and retouchers are highly skilled in making every shot, every product and every client feel special.
Want more magic? How about a lightning-fast turnaround? Done and done. Having twenty years of experience under our glittery belt allows us to meet even seemingly impossible deadlines. (That whole unicorn thing.)

StyleExpo Photography opened its NYC studio in 2000 and expanded to LA in 2011. We are owned and operated by a trio of individuals with extensive backgrounds in client relations, system operations and fashion design.
We offer a full suite of photography services. From a one-hour table-top shoot to a full-day lifestyle model shoot on location; from send-in sessions to client-attended shoots; from coast to coast, we proudly make magic happen daily.
Our rates are hourly for attended photoshoots, and per-shot for send-in work. Contact us to discuss your hopes and dreams.
At the end of the day, we style, shoot, retouch and deliver the photographic goods, all while paying close attention to your timeline, your budget, your brand and every last detail. That’s just how we roll.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
"I need 40 flat shots done this week, with the pictures delivered by the end of the week. Our samples can only be out for a day and the press is clamoring for these pictures! Can you do that?"
"My jewelry has textured surfaces and the pictures I have don't show that. Do you think you can shoot them to show that detail?"
"I only have 5 pieces to shoot, but I need them done now and am on a really tight budget. Can you work with me on that?"
"We need to photograph 50 +/- pairs of shoes every month, four angles of each, and make it look like they were all shot the same day. Is that something you can do?"
We get asked questions like this every day and the answer is invariably "yes"! That's how we've been able to meet the product photography needs of the fashion industry for over 15 years. Whether you're a perfectionist or budget driven, if you have a small run of samples or a large, ongoing program, ecommerce needs, lookbook or internal purposes...from scheduling to final picture delivery, we make the whole process easy, cost effective and on your schedule.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR RATE?
Our rate includes: the studio, the equipment, the photographer, basic retouching (cleaning up background, removing props, adjusting contrast), 2 sizes of JPEG images and a four business-day turnaround.
DOES THAT INCLUDE A MODEL AND STYLIST?
A model, stylist, skin retouching and clipping paths are not included but can easily be added to any shoot.
DO YOU DO "PER-SHOT" QUOTES?
Yes, if you are sending your product to NYC or with high volume orders. Please call one of the studios for more information.
CAN I SHIP MY PRODUCT TO YOUR STUDIO?
Yes, and many clients choose this option. Feel free to have your product shipped or sent by courier.
MY JEWELRY IS INCREDIBLY DETAILED AND DELICATE, WILL YOU BE ABLE TO SEE THAT IN THE PHOTOS?

We work with a number of agencies and can direct you to finding the right talent to represent your brand.
DO I NEED GHOST OR PIN-UPS?
"Pin-ups" are flat images of the clothing styled and pinned to a white board which is removed in post. "Ghost" images are styled on a mannequin with the reverse interior being added in post, giving it a 3-D look as if the wearer was invisible. Check out this blog for more info.
